First Vice President
Westfield attorney Louis H. Miron has been elected first vice president of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation, an organization dedicated to promoting law-related education and giving all New Jersey residents a basic understanding of the legal system. He previously served a two-year term as the Foundation's second vice president.
A former trustee, Miron is actively involved in the Bar Foundation. He chairs the Tolerance, Law-Related Education and Cosponsorship Oversight committees and is a member of the Fellowship and Program Development committees. He serves on the editorial board of The Legal Eagle, the Foundation's legal newspaper for kids; and chairs the editorial board for Respect, a tolerance newsletter produced by the Foundation.
Miron frequently lectures students on various legal issues including the juvenile justice system, students' rights and school newspaper issues and helped prepare mock trial teams for competition. He is a member of the Federal, New Jersey State, New York State, Union County and District of Columbia bar associations.
Miron graduated from Lehigh University and received his law degree from American University, Washington College of Law.
