EYTAN REAPPOINTED TRUSTEE OF STATE BAR FOUNDATION

                 Eli L Eytan, a Toms River resident and solo-practitioner attorney, has been reappointed a trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation (NJSBF), the educational and philanthropic arm of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA), the philanthropic arm of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA). The Foundation is dedicated to promoting law-related education and giving all New Jersey residents a basic understanding of the legal system.

            A member of the NJSBA since 1981, he is a former chair and current member of the Meetings, Arrangement and Programs Committee, former chair and current member of the Appellate Practice Committee, a former member of the Long-Term Planning Committee and a current member of the CLE, Election and Amicus committees.  He also served on the editorial board of New Jersey Lawyer magazine.

            He is also a former member of the NJSBF's Law-Related Education Committee, a past president of Ocean-Monmouth Legal Services and the Ocean County Bar Association, a former vice-chair of the District IIIA Fee Arbitration Committee and current member of the Civil Practice Committee.  He is a former member of the Supreme Court Civil Practice Committee and past member of the District IIIA Ethics Committee.  Additionally, he is a Superior Court arbitrator and mediator.

            Mr. Eytan received his law degree with honors from the National Law Center, George Washington University.
