the medal of honor

The Medal of Honor is the highest award bestowed by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. Up to two Medal of Honor Awards are given annually to attorneys and law-related professionals, as well as laypeople who best exemplify either or both of the following criteria: (1) made a significant contribution to the advancement or improvement of the justice system or the betterment of the legal profession in New Jersey; (2) attained professional excellence as demonstrated by accomplishments in the law or service to the profession and the community during his or her career.

 

In addition to lawyers and law-related professionals, elected officials, educators and other laypeople are eligible. 

 

To submit nominations, send a completed nomination form, the candidate's biographical information and summaries of achievements to: Medal of Honor Committee, New Jersey State Bar Foundation, One Constitution Square, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.
