Courtroom Sketch Artist Winners Receive Recognition

 

Winners in the New Jersey State Bar Foundation's High School Courtroom Sketch Artist Competition were honored before the final competition in the NJSBF High School Mock Trial Competition. The winning artists received plaques and recognition from the Foundation and the New Jersey Supreme Court Chief Justice Stuart Rabner.

AND THE WINNERS ARE:

First Place: Michaela Lozada, Marine Academy of Technology & Environmental Science, Manahawkin

Second Place: Olivia Zhou, Marshall Academy, Princeton Junction

Third Place: Erein James Ruiz, New Milford High School, New Milford

Honorable Mention: Rachel Jacovsky, Parsippany Hills High School, Parsippany

Honorable Mention: Miya Preyer, Point Pleasant Beach High School, Point Pleasant

 

Honorable Mention: Ashley Wilson, Marine Academy of Technology & Environmental Science, Manahawkin

Also receiving an Honorable Mention, but unable to attend the ceremony, was Nina Colagiovanni, from Point Pleasant Beach High School, Point Pleasant.

All the winning sketches, as well as others that received recognition from the judges will be displayed at the New Jersey Law Center during the month of May in conjunction with Law Day, celebrated on May 1st.
