BAR FOUNDATION'S MOCK TRIAL COMPETITORS GEAR UP FOR REGIONAL FINALS
The latest round of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation's Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition saw two high schools each from the central, northern and southern parts of the state emerge triumphant following the first phase of regional competitions held February 10-12 at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.
The winners are as follows:
Central Regional: Marshall Academy of West Windsor, a home school from Mercer County, and North Brunswick Township High School of North Brunswick, Middlesex County;
Northern Regional : Montclair High School of Montclair, Essex County, and West Morris Mendham High School of Mendham, Morris County;
Southern Regional: Eastern Regional High School of Voorhees, Camden County, and Mainland Regional High School of Linwood, Atlantic County.
The six schools will face off on March 19, 1 p.m., at the Law Center for their respective regional titles. The three regional title winners will then advance to the semifinals on March 24, en route to the state title.
