Attention NJ Attorneys: Submit Your Artwork for Consideration at Law Center Juried Show by July 31

Are you an attorney or judge whose talents and creativity extend beyond the courtroom or office to the realm of the fine arts?

For four weeks beginning September 13, paintings, drawings, sculpture and photographs by members of New Jersey's legal community with an artistic bent will be on display in the public areas of the New Jersey Law Center, including the Visitors Lounge and the first-floor walls. You are encouraged to submit your artwork for consideration. All works should be for sale.

"The exhibit is a great opportunity for the legal community to showcase their talents in other arenas as well as to further the good work of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation," said Steven M. Richman, chairman of the Foundation's Ad Hoc Arts Committee.

If you would like to have your artwork considered for inclusion in the show, or if you have any questions, please contact Cynthia Pellegrino at cpellegrino@njsbf.org or 732-937-7507 for terms and conditions, specs and entry forms. The deadline to submit your art to Ms. Pellegrino in digital format only is Tuesday, July 31. If your artwork is selected, it must be brought to the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick by Thursday, September 6.

You should also plan on attending a "meet the artists" ticketed reception scheduled for September 13, 6-8 p.m., in celebration of the opening of the juried show. Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served. Attendees will have the opportunity to view and purchase artwork. To inquire about tickets to the reception for your colleagues and friends, please contact Ms. Pellegrino.
