"Kids' Court" - This live television special, broadcast May 23, 1996 on New Jersey Network, features Law Fair, the Foundation's mock trial program for grades 3 to 6. A panel consisting of a judge, an attorney, a teacher and three elementary school students discuss legal issues from the student-written cases after viewing taped segments from the Law Fair Programs. Appropriate for all audiences. (60 minutes)
"Law Fair/Law Adventure Instructional Video" - features seventh-graders enacting their winning Law Adventure cases. (23 minutes)
"Mini-Court Videotape" - In this 11-minute videotape, second-graders from the Cochran Academy in East Orange, New Jersey, enact "The Case of the Missing Puppy" from the New Jersey State Bar Foundation's "Mini-Court Teacher's Guide." The video is intended to be used as a teaching tool in conjunction with the guide for grades K-2. The guide features a five-day lesson plan for grades K-1 and another for grade 2. In addition to the lesson plan, the guide contains a glossary of legal terms, coloring page, courtroom diagram, resource and activities sections, word searches, puppet cutouts and a student award certificate. A free copy of the guide will be provided with the videotape.
Mock Trial Videotapes - Taped at the New Jersey Law Center on March 28, 1995, in the final round of the 1994-95 Vincent J. Apruzzese High School Mock Trial Competition, Hunterdon Central Regional High School faced Lower Cape May Regional High School. In order to help as many teachers and students as possible participate in the mock trial competition, the New Jersey State Foundation will lend the videotape to schools participating in the contest. This video can also be purchased for $10.00. (65 minutes)
"Stop Teasing Me" - encourages children to develop greater respect for others and to learn how to cope with being teased. For grades K-2, includes 13-minute videotape, workbook and audiotape.
"The Girl Who Cried Wolf" - Mock trial classroom exercise for elementary schools on freedom of speech. (17 minutes)
"We Can Work It Out: Conflict Resolution" - a kit designed to help teachers introduce students to simple techniques to resolve conflicts. For grades K-2, includes 14-minute videotape, workbook, audiotape with songs and a game.
"1998 National Mock Trial Championship Highlights" - features interviews with contestants, video clips of social events and excerpts from trials from the National High School Mock Trial Championship in Albuquerque, New Mexico, May 7 - 10, 1998. (20 minutes)
"1998 National High School Mock Trial Championship Final Round" - In this final round of the 1998 National High School Mock Trial Championship conducted in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on May 9, New Jersey's 1997-98 statewide championship team, Cherry Hill High School East of Camden County, defeated Guam for the national title. The Cherry Hill East team represented the defendant in this criminal trial dealing with homicide. Please note that the national rules differ from those of the Vincent J.
